Cultiva farm to Table in Nairobi

 Restaurant Cultiva Home - Cultiva Kenya is a great example how a farm to table restaurant works with great success, just a extremely busy place both for lunch and dinner and the food is delicious and very creative without being snobby, great attentive staff (need more wine knowledge) makes the whole experience a worth travel destination when in Nairobi.

The menu is reflected on the owner who is a Latino so many influences are from Mexico, Ecuador and other places with a quirky mix and bold flavors that I enjoy very much, a chefs choice of place for breakfast lunch and dinner. some of the dishes I had on my last visit.

Delgado Zuleta is the oldest family-owned winery in the Jerez-Xèréz-Sherry & Manzanilla district currently maturing and commercialising Manzanilla, Sherry and some still white wine.   The bodega is located in Sanlucar de Barrameda, a small coastal town at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River , facing the Atlantic Ocean and the Doñana Natural Park . Delgado Zuleta was established in 1744 by Mr. Francisco Gil de Ledesma, Knight of the Order of Calatrava and Sanlucar Honorary Mayor and the current name honours Mr. José María Delgado Zuleta, a navy officer and skilful business man that ran the company after marrying a direct descendant of its founder. Zind - Humbrecht wines in gods garden

When you leave South Africa you can not believe that one of the first persons you meet is from that country! How fun it was to meet up with Jolene Hunter the cellar master of maison Zind-Humbrecht, she is from J-burg bye the way J The winery of Olivier Humbrecht is in my book one of the 3 best producers in Alsace ( I will meet them all this week) and Jolene ( Olivier has to drive his son to a new school out of town this day) made this tasting a memory for life, I hade the tasting extravaganza never seen before when we started to get berserk in the tiny wine cellar, the one great bottle after the other, she was a great hostess who could explain all of my silly questions about all aspects of the house winemaking methods and about biodynamic winegrowing techniques.
