SWEDEN KICK ASS IN THE CULINARY OLYMPICS


This have been a mind blowing day considering what the Swedish teams have done in the 2012 Olympics in Erfurt Germany.

You have to understand one thing, never ever have a team won this competition with overwhelming points like the senior team did today and never ever have a single country won 5 gold and 3 silver medals at any time, and you have to remember that the competition started in 1905!

What an outstanding achievement from this small country with great chefs, the teams did not only win, they also totally crushed the opponents in total humiliation.

I am so proud to be a part of the Swedish chefs association and to see all the behind scenes and also all the hard work that everybody did put in to make this happen and we are all looking forward to the World Cup in 2014.

Prowein day two with great people

The second day at the wine fair was just amazing and I’m really happy to announce that I signed some great producers to Scandinavia and that I have chosen the first four wines that will have the “Special sommelier selection by Dragan Unic ” on the bottle. Delgado Zuleta is the oldest family-owned winery in the Jerez-Xèréz-Sherry & Manzanilla district currently maturing and commercialising Manzanilla, Sherry and some still white wine.   The bodega is located in Sanlucar de Barrameda, a small coastal town at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River , facing the Atlantic Ocean and the Doñana Natural Park . Delgado Zuleta was established in 1744 by Mr. Francisco Gil de Ledesma, Knight of the Order of Calatrava and Sanlucar Honorary Mayor and the current name honours Mr. José María Delgado Zuleta, a navy officer and skilful business man that ran the company after marrying a direct descendant of its founder.
